So up until now my friendly little 4 by 5 cheapo tablet has served me well. For flatting and the animation work I do, it's a huge improvement. But as I flex my digital muscles and try new things I've begun to think that my little guy might be too small to do any effective drawing/painting. I feel like I basically just can't get the accuracy of the strokes that I need. Or at least I can't duplicate what I can draw with a pen and paper on the ol' compy. Now, I know a lot of that is just getting comfortable with the tools over time, but I wanted to put this quandary out there so I don't just keep struggling in a loosing battle. So whadda you s

Practice Schmactice. There, I said it. Practice is vital to any art, but equally important is actually applying those nurtured skills. I'm attempting to be a professional flatter (or at least as professional as one can be in this biz), so here's an offer to any colorists out there... You have a random page you need flatted? I'LL DO IT FOR FREE! I figure, I'm scouring inkers for practice flatting pages, so why not let those pages go to some direct use? And of course, if you have a few pages, or even a book, I'd love to sink my digital teeth in right away. My going rates are 8 for simple pages 14 for crazy complex ones, but that's flexible
